Objekten tillverkas i familjedrivna verkstäder världen över, som är noga utvalda för sin unika kompentens och traditionella användning av material. Varje produkt är handgjord och stämplad med designerns märke. Michael Anastassiades designfilosofi är att producera exceptionellt designade föremål med permanent värde. Det välkända varumärket är och förblir en plattform för Michaels kompromisslösa vision om tidlös design som inspirerar till samtal, deltagande och interaktion.

Minimalistisk tidlöshet och genomtänkt design

Michael Anastassiades, designern bakom varumärket med samma namn, grundar sin egen studio år 1994 i London. Han utbildar sig till civilingenjör vid London’s Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine, innan han tar en magisterexamen i industriell design vid Royal College of Art. Hans verk finns i permanenta utställningar på bland annat Museum Of Modern Art i New York, the Crafts Council i London och the FRAC Centre i Orleans, Frankrike. Michael Anastassiades egna studio har designat produkter tillsammans med flera stora tillverkare som bland annat Flos, B&B Italia och Cassina. Michael Anastassiades formspråk kännetecknas lätt av dess minimalism i kombination med den genomtänkta designen.
